Warm summer evenings, cool breeze and a clear open sky. You know what this inspires me to do? Make a barbecue for my friends and family to enjoy. I bring to you one of my recipes to make the yummiest tandoori marinade.
Ingredients:
For the marinade:
- Greek yogurt – 150g
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
- Kashmiri mirchi – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 tbsp
- Minced garlic – 1 tbsp
- Minced ginger – 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1/2
- Kasuri methi – 2 tbsp crushed
- Paprika (optional) – 1 tbsp
- Deep orange food colouring (optional) – a couple of drops
For the main (vegetarians):
- Cottage cheese
- Sweet peppers
- Onions
- Cauliflower
For the main (non-vegetarians):
- Chicken
- Cod
METHOD:
- Mix the marinade ingredients together.
- Add in the main and let it sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours before the barbecue.
